Established in the 1980s by a group of Berkshire residents, Kimball Farms is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community situated on 63 wooded acres in Lenox, Massachusetts. Once the site of a summer cottage, horse farm and riding stable in the Berkshires, we are the only Life Care retirement community in Western Massachusetts.
Kimball Farms offers the full spectrum of housing options on our beautiful campus, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care assisted living. Skilled nursing care for short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care is available nearby at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center.
One unique feature of our campus is that our assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing are not only part of our Life Care continuum, but they are also open to the public. Our Life Care independent living residents enjoy the confidence that their living and health care needs will be addressed appropriately as they change, with priority acceptance into our higher levels of care. Our neighbors from the community have access to assisted living, memory care, and skilled care with an adjusted monthly service fee and no entrance fee.
